Dear Sirs,

I found Sartre’s quote “In Love one and one are one” one your web site and a number of other sites, but I was unable so far to find out where it was written or said… can you help me with some bibliographic data?

Thanks in advance!

The Condemned of Altona, 177-78 contains several phrases such as 'one and one make one' which I have never understood.  This page is also on page 484 of Cumming's Anthology, The Philosophy of Jean-Paul Sartre.  If your comprehension is better than mine please pass it back.
